Fate will often have some seemingly bizarre twists and turns. For one family in Lewis Center, Ohio, the desire to have children finally came true after five long years and there was quite a surprise in store.

Annie and Joby Johnston became parents to not one, but four newborn babies just last week. The healthy infants, Charlie, Tommy, Hadley and Grace are all doing wonderful, but the story of their births is anything but standard.

For years, the Johnstons dealt with one negative pregnancy test after another. It seemed the couple had bee burdened by infertility.

Not quite ready to give up, the couple asked Annie’s sister, named Chrissy to step in and be their surrogate. After the medical procedure was carried out, Chrissy got pregnant.

During this time, Annie and Joby opted to try one last time to get pregnant on their own. Amazingly, it worked – Annie was pregnant.

Later it was discovered the sisters were both carrying twins. Chrissy was carrying a set of twin boys while her sister had the girls.

The Johnstons, who tried so long for just one baby, are now making up for lost time, taking care of four.
