FOOT IN MOUTH: GOP Chair Resigns After Racist Remarks During ‘Daily Show’ Interview

Don Yelton, a senior GOP official, got a little too honest with the Daily Show making some very racist remarks. Aasif Mandvi was interviewing Yelton about voter suppression in the south when he made comments about blacks, using derogatory and racist remarks. The day after the segment aired, a spokesperson for the Republican party confirmed Yelton had resigned from his post.
