Welcome to BalconyTV Walchsee. Walchsee is a small but pretty village with around 1,700 inhabitants in the Tyrolean Alps. It's surrounded by a beautiful landscape with a lake, which it is named after, and up to 2.000 m high mountains in the Kaisergebirge. It's a great place for every kind of outdoor sports in summer and winter. Walchsee is located in the western part of Austria, in Tyrol, close to the German border. If you're from far, far away it's no problem to fly in as the cities of Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich, which offer airports, are each just 80 -- 100 km away. You see -- Walchsee is the centre of life! ;-) Especially in summer there are a lot of parties and traditional festivals going on in area. Lots of them are traditionally but if dig a bit in the cultural box you will discover quite a lot of great artists and musician. BalconyTV Walchsee is supposed to give those artists a worldwide platform and to encourage musicians to go on in their artistic work.
