A man in Florida, who is outlawed from possessing a gun, due to his past criminal history is now again in hot water again after he accidentally shot himself in the leg.

There are some people who should never possess a gun.

A man in Florida, who is not permitted to possess a gun due to his felony conviction, is in hot water again after he accidentally shot himself in the leg.

Mark Cruz was sent to the hospital after the mishap. It all started when a .22-caliber pistol fell out of his pocket and struck the ground, which caused it to discharge.

The 28-year-old wasn’t exactly forthcoming with information once police got wind of the incident. Cruz refused to divulge where he obtained the gun, or precisely where he discarded it, only that it was in a lake somewhere.

Following treatment at a local medical facility, Cruz was immediately arrested.

He is now facing charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, tampering with or destroying evidence and carrying a concealed firearm. Cruz just got out of jail last year.

He was previously convicted of assault with a weapon and trafficking cocaine. He was released from prison on $ 11,500 bail for the most recent offenses.
