Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is a 2D puzzle-platformer based on the 2004 film. Players control the poor Baudelaire orphans, whose parents have just been killed. They find themselves in the custody of their supposed relative Count Olaf, a vile man who is only after the children's inheritance. The game allows you to switch between the three children at any time, each of whom have their own attributes and abilities. Violet can launch apples with her newfangled apple launcher, while little Sunny can crawl into areas her older brother and sister can't reach. Each of the game's 20 levels requires you to utilize all three of the children to solve the puzzles and progress. Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is a single-player game. This video review features video gameplay footage of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
