Douglas wins GQ award, Harper joins 'Dancing With the Stars'

Actor Michael Douglas won the Legend award at the GQ Men of the Year awards in London on Tuesday (Sept. 04). The actor, who has separated from his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, took to the stage to say he was looking forward to his third act in life. Former Oasis member Noel Gallagher picked up the Icon award, while Harry Potter star Emma Watson was given the Woman award.

Actresses Valerie Harper and Leah Remini will join reality TV star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi for the 17th season of the hit TV competition "Dancing With the Stars." Harper, who is 74, is a four-time Emmy Award winner. She recently announced her battle with cancer and said her condition was improving.

Jon Stewart got back to work on "The Daily Show" on Tuesday (Sept. 04) after being gone for the summer. He was in Jordan for the past three months directing political drama "Rosewater." Stewart's break was his longest yet since joining the show in 1999.
