O watcher in the wilderness - Chris Lawton at St Botolph's Church, Morley, Norfolk

Me playing the organ at St Botolph's Church in the village of Morley just outside Wymondham, Norfolk.

The organ was built in about the early 1950s by the John Compton Organ Company Ltd and given as a memorial instrument to those in the parish who had gave their lives during world war two. It is the 2 rank 'Miniatura' model consisting of Diapason and Rohr Gedeckt all fully enclosed. The specification reads:

For this first video I am playing the hymn 'O watcher in the wilderness' to the tune 'Coe Fen'. I chose this hymn as I was in a country church which seemed miles away from anywhere so very much 'in the wilderness'.
