A special lecture on the properties of gravity was given to a group of Beijing students by astronauts onboard China's first experimental space lab orbiting about 340 km above earth on Thursday, state media reported.

The three astronauts were sent to space on the Shenzhen 10 spacecraft for a 15-day mission on June 11, and docked with the space module Tiangong (Heavenly Palace) 1 on June 13.

Via a live video link also broadcast live by China's state television CCTV, astronauts conducted various physics experiments in a weightless environment in front of around 330 students in Beijing.

Female astronaut Wang Yaping demonstrated how zero gravity affects various objects, using a pendulum and a water bubble.
