Darkwing Duck is a classic platformer for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and this Game Boy port is a surprisingly faithful version. The levels are generally shrunken grayscale replicas of their NES counterparts, which is both impressive and slightly problematic. Darkwing Duck does suffer from some slow down at times, struggling to run on the weaker Game Boy. Still, the game itself is a blast, and it feels very similar to the NES classic. Darkwing Duck was built from a modified Mega Man game engine, so the gameplay and design similarities are countless. If you like Mega Man and Disney's TV animation from the early 1990s, you'll love Darkwing Duck.
